                    The Humalong Song

 ©  1980 Dorothy Lees-Blakey

Whenever I hum
It tickles my nose.
Like strings that strum
That humming sound grows.

From fingers and thumb
It tingles and flows,
And some of the hum
Goes down to my toes.

And suddenly I'm
Feeling happy again,
Just like a rainbow in the rain.

So why don't you try
My Humalong Song?
When things go wrong,
Come humalong!
